Jake Grinsted, Founder
While a student of King’s College London, Jake discovered a summer job like no other: he became a counselor at a Fresh Air Fund summer camp in upstate New York. His passion soon became a purpose, and he later moved to work full-time for the charity that had changed his life.
His eleven year career at The Fresh Air Fund was a diverse one: from human resources and administration to youth programming and public relations. Throughout, Jake infused technology into his work, originating The Fresh Air Fund’s in-house, web-based database system that is now accessed by hundreds of users every year and manages the records of a half-million people.
This love of technology brought about Solve IT Simply, where Jake has set a simple but ambitious goal: to empower nonprofits and small businesses with the tools they need to change the world.
